1990s

• 1991: TDAF scholarships had expanded to 9 scholarships, totaling $4,500.
• 1994: Joan J. Coleman of Dumas, TX contributed the $10,000 necessary to establish the first endowed scholarship fund. That year, TDAF awarded 10 scholarships totaling $4,750.
• 1996: The Celeste Rocap (West Texas District Association) Endowed Scholarship was established.
• 1998: A total of 18 scholarships for $11,200 were awarded.
• 1999: With a generous contribution of $10,000 by Dr. Helen Lane of Houston, Texas, the Nutrition Research Scholarship was established. The purpose of this scholarship is to assist students training in nutrition research.
